Broadband Speed

Hi all,

I’ve recently moved from YouFibre and had no issues with their connection, joined EE Fibre 900 with a promise of cheaper prices and guaranteed high speed connection. From 6pm onwards I have had very slow connection and buffering on streaming platforms/connection issues to the router itself. No I am not too far away from the router and yes I have been doing download speed tests to evidence the poor quality connection I’ve been getting during these times. I have reported this to an EE Guide and have yet to hear a reply.
From looking at the forum here I am not the only one and am starting to regret ever swapping. I’ve been a member of EE for over 8 years and I am disappointed.

Can anyone advise me what would be best to do with the issues I am having. P.S I’ve followed standard restarting procedures and disconnected and reconnected everything my end before we go down that route.

Ryan

@RyanJhon97 What does the app say your speed is during the busy period when you are seeing the difference?

Hi @RyanJhon97

Welcome to the Community!

I'm sorry to hear about the trouble you're having with your connection, and I can understand your concern. Could you let me know a little more about how you've reported this to a guide? Have you tried texting 'HELP' to 66033?

Have been looking at YouFibre, what are they like?

they say no price increases whilst in contract, I am presuming the initial contract, but with EE, they told me the current price and then the prices for the year after and the year after that.........

@chrislee1628 If that is what the Altnet agrees to for your period then you pay nothing extra, but EE will have it's value increase once per year as advised.
