Hi there, I’m Currently on BT Fibre 2 (6 months into 24 month contract) and not sure if switching to New EE Broadband is a option yet as I’m still very early in the contract

should I stick with BT or call to switch over/look at options? Don’t wanna be paying a termination fee so not sure

Do any of you have Hybrid Connect? I’ve had a similar problem which is stopping me from migrating to EE.

Spoke with one of the team today who advised there’s a fix going in overnight which should resolve the issue.

@Leanne_T and still no success on the phone.  No option to regrade onto EE from BT. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Launched too early?

That is three agents I’ve spoken too that didn’t really know what is going on.

@RocketPup1 Im in the same situation as currently with BT on Full Fibre 900 halo 3. Upgraded to Full Fibre in February this year from GFast. Phoned this morning and placed an upgrade to Full Fibre Gigabit All Rounder package at roughly the same price as my BT package. The transfer will happen from BT to EE on the 30th October. The lady on the phone was really nice and helpful and said I would get the 4G backup device and WiFi Plus discs but doesn’t say anything about that in the email I got with the equipment being sent out. Does anyone know before I phone back up what’s included with the Gigabit All Rounder package.

@TuckerUK - I'd get back in touch to confirm if I were you. I could be wrong, but I was under the impression that the Smart WiFi Plus/Hybrid Connect was only offered on the Full Works package.

You can add them as a bolt-on which works out cheaper than getting both on the packaged price.

iirc, £10 & £7, can’t remember which was which.

Hi Leanne,

I have a BT package,

If I switch to EE, will the BT router need changing / reconfiguring?

@TobyCh  you should remove your account details, this is a public forum.

If you keep your BT router no changes required assuming you are moving to a similar service.

You may however be required to send the BT router back. In which case if you take note of the SSID/WiFi name and password then change the new router to use the same settings you will not then need to change all of your attached WiFi devices.
