EE has notified me by email that the price increase from April 2025 is 5%. However they say that my monthly payment will be an extra £3.00!
I am paying £29.99 now, which means that the increase should be no more than £1.50!
So where does the extra £1.50 come from?
Solved! See the answer below or view the solution in context.

@LeoLion5 BB price increase if taken out after the 10th April 2024 is £3.00. If taken out before this date it’s CPI + 3.9%
It’s mobile contracts that are £1.50 after the 10th of April 2024.

When did you take out your contract? Since about mid-2024 %age annual increases were banned on new contracts. The annual increase for BB is now a fixed amount, £3 pm.

Check the communication again, the 5% is probably referring to the increase on out of bundle charges like it does on mine
