hi everyone. so i activated my EE sim yesterday and i’m unable to transfer my old number, i have tried this on the web and on the EE app and i type my number in and it says it doesn’t recognise it, i have a PAC code and everything at the ready, i was just wondering if you anyone could help me out, if it helps at all i have an iPhone 11,

Where did this new SIM come from? Was it an upgrade phone? Who sent it to you, and why?
Or have you, as I suspect, bought a new phone on a new number and are asking how to transfer your existing number to it? If this is your question, the answer is you can't. Not without a long-winded faff.
