issues with 4gee mini dongle

I have a 4Gee mini dongle but can only receive a max of 5mbps and this is insufficient for live streaming.  I am using in a building with stone walls and adding wired internet is not an option.  Any suggestions as to how I can improve my signal? Extender? Mesh? ac router?
