brand new 4GEE wifi miniwont stay turned on

hi, i have just purchased an EE wifi mini wifi dongle  but it wont stay turned on despite being left on charge all night , any ideas? thanks in advance

Do you get a connection thro' it? The lights go out after a bit to conserve the battery but it's still active.
