Mobile WiFi sim change

I received a new EE sim for my WiFi dongle as I’m going on a different pay monthly plan.

Device is working with new sim but I get a ‘weak security’ alert when I connect to it with iPhone or iPad. I have been using a BT mini hub during a house move and have not seen a security warning on it.

Thanks for that ‘reassurance’.

I’d just posted re similar issue after I got the weak security message on my Osprey mobile WiFi, after inserting new sim sent by EE due to new plan commencing. It’s possible this is the 1st time I’ve used it since downloading 14.4 to devices.

Hi @cluthab

I see you've commented on another post regarding this already.

Glad you got some reassurance from there.

On the Osprey under the WiFi Settings tab you can set:

which should satisfy Apple.

Looks like I have to connect Osprey to computer to do settings change. No EE router connection yet, was supposed to be done yesterday, nobody turned up. Now to be in 3 days 😞

You can do it on your phone, probably helps if you put your phone browser on Desktop Mode though.a
