Hi @De-walden and welcome to the EE community

You can only have one SIM active on any mobile number.

Therefore your question is effectively, how can I get an EE SIM? Are you looking to go on PAYG or pay-monthly?

All new EE SIMs are "combo" SIMs that are full-size with cutouts.

I’d just like a SIM card in credit size card that will fit my car phone for occasional use

ee get enough money from me per month as it is so not going to be having two contracts etc

I’ll pick up a cheap payg from somewhere that’s calls only

thanks

You can order an EE PAYG SIM here

SIMs are not credit card size but they are issued as a Combi-SIM of all 3 possible sizes as push-outs from a credit card sized holder.

Thanks for stating the obvious.

Sorry, but it's not at all obvious when you request a credit card size SIM to be put in a phone but such a thing doesn't exist. You don't put the credit card size holder inside a phone.

early flip front phones etc and car phones did indeed have to have the full sized credit card entire holder inserted into them ,why do you think they are that size at their maximum ??

they developed into the push out various sized sims fitted into the full size holder to still be useable on all phones from the 90s onwards....

i merely asked if they were available from EE !

Although there called 3 in One Combi Sims they are actually 4 in One because the holder also caters for your type of Car Phone, so in other words the Combi SIM is positioned correctly to where it needs to be when using the whole credit Card Size as it the Original Style.

You do need to be s bit carefull though as the Pin Pressure can break / push out the Sim, especially the nano one where the pins are pushing on,you may want to think about getting some good quality Masking Tape or similar and put on the back of the Card to help the pevention of this.

THanks for confirming my previous post, maybe our young friend above will see that he’s wrong now lol
