I have a similar problem which eventually sorts it self out.

But my problem is connecting to HSBC online banking. Every time i try it drops out saying network change detected.

What is this issue ?

I can log on to other banks with no problems.

When the connection is eventually made from my laptop to the 4g mini dongle,i get a warning message from windows saying that the device security is out of date !

I have only had the thing for 6 weeks so is this correct ??

Help !!!!

Login to your MBB router at http://192.168.1.1 with username/pwd as "admin"/"admin" or with the password found under the battery cover. Then on the WiFi Settings tab try changing the WiFi to:

Security = WPA2 PSK

if it's not already, as it should be.

my neighbour who is a techie type says that maybe HSBC wrap a security shield around the log in software and when there is a slight change in signal strength or a change of base station it locks you out.
