I have an issue where I have to keep turning my iPhone Xs max off and on again replug the charger in for it to even register that the charger is plugged in and charging. I have only had the phone for several months.
I don’t want to fiddle with the device in any way because firstly it’s on contract with you and secondly I don’t want any warranty null and voided by trying to resolve it myself because I’m no expert.
I won’t even attempt to clean the charging port because this is in effect classed as tampering and anything like this could null and void any warranty on it.
Help please!

Hi @mrdavid1,
Welcome to the EE Community. 🙂
Can you see any debris in the charging port?
Have you tried a different charger/cable?
