Recently got a new iPad on my account.
new contract means new number and new number doesn’t work on iPad and when I put in Apple ID the iPad mirrors my phone, numbers and all.
I tried the new sim on my phone and the calls etc work and shows up as a new number. When I have the new sim with the new number in the iPad, it uses my iPhone number?!?
they are two different sims with different numbers on my account yet when my Apple ID is on my iPad it’s like it’s my phone.
how do I make it work on my iPad?

@Steve-10 That’s correct it’s doing what it should be doing. It’s called iCloud calling or as EE call it smart calling. You iPhone and iPad are on the same Apple account and because it’s on the same Apple account you can send text messages and receive calls and make calls from your iPad that are then ran through your iPhones number so appears that you called from your iPhone as it’s your. iPhone number that’s displayed.
