I ordered my phone on 20th November through free upgrade, however have had no further info or text message since order confirmed. I have spoken to 150 who said it is a case of waiting for update and I have also been in to store and spoken to staff only to fob me off with apparently theft of a truck full of apple products which has caused a shortage of supply. Has anyone received their phone yet who have ordered around the same time as mine and secondly why is it that family members have managed to pick up their phone identical to mine but on Vodafone and the other being o2 why is it ee are having such an issue ??

@smithy1238uk there was a lorry that got hijacked on the motorway and it was all Apple products that got stolen as they took the whole lorry. £5m of Apple products. These could of been for EE you might want to read about that HERE.
the best part about that is Apple will know all the devices serial numbers and will not allow the devices to be activated or used.
if you order online then the store cannot help you so there’s no point in going there and you will have to wait until all orders that were done before yours have been delivered you could be waiting awhile longer yet. Plus Apple have supply shortages of certain parts for the device.

I ordered the 256GB model on the 23rd November as an early upgrade. The way things are going can I cancel my early upgrade, buy the phone from Amazon who reportedly have stocks for next day delivery and then sell my iPhone XR privately?
The bloody annoying thing is those adverts with Kevin Bacon and us long term EE customers having EE envy of those users with other providers.
Is there away of finding out what stocks of iPhone 12 EE actually have?
