iPhone 12 and 12 Pro preorder thread

Saw that there was an XS/XS Max thread back in 2018 and fancied seeing if anyone would respond to a new one for the iPhone 12 preorders!

 

Ordered myself an 128GB iPhone 12 Pro in Pacific Blue, albeit it with minimal photos showing the new colour so I'm a little nervous as someone who's gone Silver for the past few years.

 

Order is currently sat at Order Confirmed, Awaiting Confirmation for the delivery date but I hope this evening (as per previous years) it changes to delivery for Friday.

 

What phones and experiences has everyone else had this year?

I seem to be having the same problem as everyone else with the pre order, on trade in, don’t understand why I’m still waiting when my daughter had hers turn up launch day, I have now had a message telling me today that the the packaging is coming for me to send my old phone back by the 7th November or I will receive a bill of £300, how can I send my phone back when I’ve not received my new phone if I have to wait 14 days for delivery?

Mine said that until this morning when it changed to “Awaiting Confirmation “.

Where does it say when it’s due to arrive?? I’ve only received text saying my trade in bag is in the post 

I just spoke to someone in upgrades after being fobbed off and passed from one web chat agent to another. I ordered the iPhone 12 pro 128gb in silver. The guy said that they basically don’t have any stock left, and they’re awaiting a delivery of more but apple haven’t specified when they’ll get more. So basically we’ve to sit and wait till apple decide to update them.

I got told the same, so I just went ahead and cancelled the order. 

im just gonna wait the extra week and get the pro max

I don’t know if it helps however on my ‘tracking’ it says to expect my delivery between 2nd November - 9th November. I ordered the gold 12 pro.

They’re a shambles and the complaints team are just as bad!

That’s not helpful. My delivery was meant to be 23rd and still waiting... I’m out the country next week and so will be impossible to take delivery after this Saturday. Tempted just to cancel and go somewhere else even though I’ve been an orange/EE customer since 2004! 

When I go onto my order number it doesn’t tell me anything. How did you see it will arrive on those dates.

Just had an email to say it’s due 26-31/11. That’s the same as order tracking said until this morning when it changed to Awaiting Confirmation. So which is right?

@vadoseflame I use both the XKO number and the 10 digits order number I was given in the chat (never received via email) and still can't track it. If I use the XKO number it says "Sorry, we can't show your order details right now. ". If I use the 10 digits number, it says "Sorry, you can't track this order type just yet.".

 

So I really don't know what to think! Also, I placed the bloody order at 13:10 on Friday the 16th, and they haven't fully confirmed it until Wednesday of the week after.
