iPhone 12 and 12 Pro preorder thread

Saw that there was an XS/XS Max thread back in 2018 and fancied seeing if anyone would respond to a new one for the iPhone 12 preorders!

 

Ordered myself an 128GB iPhone 12 Pro in Pacific Blue, albeit it with minimal photos showing the new colour so I'm a little nervous as someone who's gone Silver for the past few years.

 

Order is currently sat at Order Confirmed, Awaiting Confirmation for the delivery date but I hope this evening (as per previous years) it changes to delivery for Friday.

 

What phones and experiences has everyone else had this year?

I am in the same boat as you mate, however i ordered mine on the 19th. 256gb in blue. Said this week and now it says awaiting confirmation...

Going on carphone warehouse, they’re saying that. If I were to get the gold variant iPhone 12 pro, the expected delivery date is December first. So, we could be waiting a while honestly

Because they have to fulfil orders placed before and on backlog as opposed to new orders.

The iphone launch is gone and so is pre-ordering.

 

So of course if you ordered now no matter where you order, you’d have to wait longer than those who ordered before.

 

That’s just basic knowledge.

Never said it wasn’t basic knowledge?

The fact I ordered before launch, told I’d have it the following week, now seeing I might not get it till December is beyond a joke?

Especially with 0 communication from EE. They just tell you to wait a week, or phone back.

Of course it is.

 

I’m not team EE. - If anything I’m team against.

 

The communication is nonexistent which is quite simply unacceptable and pathetic.

 

All it would take for an main figure EE representative or spokesperson to speak out surrounding the current issues regarding the iphone 12 to speak on the matter and update all of those effected and to show they care / value there customers.

 

Clearly it would lead me to believe they don’t, and would rather there frontline staff take all the incoming traffic leaving them with disgruntled customers with zero clarity on a situation.


In terms of management I’d like to think appeasement would be considered even without knowledge themselves.

 

Without customers, there is no EE.

 

Ordered a case from China on the 20th estimated delivery 16 Nov - 2 Dec and that's here today before the phone which still says awaiting confirmation 😂😂😂

I think this whole thing goes to show the EE frontline is manned by untrained sales gimps ... who’s only remit is to sell and get the commission in. And a customer service team that are so inept they might as well be AI - as that would be actually be more helpful.

I honestly can’t be annoyed at the customer support, it’s not their fault. It’s the higher up who’re at fault for such a colossal mess

Literally same. Ordered my phone the 16th. 2 days later ordered a case from China. Here before my phone. Ordered the wireless charger a week later...sitting here still waiting on the new phone. 

Has anyone had a delivery today or confirmation of a delivery tomorrow?
