iPhone 12 and 12 Pro preorder thread

Saw that there was an XS/XS Max thread back in 2018 and fancied seeing if anyone would respond to a new one for the iPhone 12 preorders!

 

Ordered myself an 128GB iPhone 12 Pro in Pacific Blue, albeit it with minimal photos showing the new colour so I'm a little nervous as someone who's gone Silver for the past few years.

 

Order is currently sat at Order Confirmed, Awaiting Confirmation for the delivery date but I hope this evening (as per previous years) it changes to delivery for Friday.

 

What phones and experiences has everyone else had this year?

@Perry1991  Did you place your order on the website or over the phone/in store?

 

I hope it’s one of the latter two because the website will have likely made an error that they don’t seem to contact about and the order will be in limbo aka not actually placed!

 

if you did it online I’d highly suggest giving them a call to make sure it’s actually confirmed

Hi @Charoq  when did you originally place your order? And for which model/colour may I ask?

My tracker still says that the order can’t be tracked! I’m so appalled by EE customer service. All they can say is to wait for a DpD text within the next Two weeks. And I placed the order on Friday shortly after the pre order release.

@Lorenzo94 I’m guessing your talking about just pressing the “track my order” from EE via email?

 

that way has never worked properly.. just copy your order number at the top and past it in manually and enter your email, and it should work👍🏻

I have the same phone, plan and expected delivery days, but my tracker went back to saying “awaiting confirmation” this morning so I’m hoping it will update today with an actual delivery day at some point.

if it doesn’t i am tempted to cancel my preorder 

Good morning mark. Yes placed it on the website I have the order number and tracked it and it ain’t moved since

@connorpowell hi, I ordered on 19th October over the phone. iPhone 12 pro silver 128Gb silver. It says the order is confirmed and expected delivery date 26th-31st and now it still says it’s confirmed but under expected delivery date now says ‘awaiting confirmation’

Which model did you choose? Memory size and colour?

 

The delivery guidance, at the moment, for most iPhone 12 Pro devices is to expect delivery within 14 days.

What does that even mean?

 

Many of us ordered the 16/17th.

 

Yet mine says the 2-7th if November that’s a potentially three week wait.

 

That’s pathetic.

 

It’s the same situation every year so why the inability to deal with it?

 

What makes it worst is I’m a new customer an this is the worst experience ever having just left three.

Chris can you please elaborate on that? Is it 2 weeks waiting time from the date of purchase, launch day or from today?
