iPhone 12 and 12 Pro preorder thread

Saw that there was an XS/XS Max thread back in 2018 and fancied seeing if anyone would respond to a new one for the iPhone 12 preorders!

Ordered myself an 128GB iPhone 12 Pro in Pacific Blue, albeit it with minimal photos showing the new colour so I'm a little nervous as someone who's gone Silver for the past few years.

Order is currently sat at Order Confirmed, Awaiting Confirmation for the delivery date but I hope this evening (as per previous years) it changes to delivery for Friday.

What phones and experiences has everyone else had this year?

They've now increased my compensation from £10 to £30 for misinformation.

I'm half tempted to cancel but I know I will only end up having to wait regardless now.

That's the position I'm in too, really wanting to cancel but I know if I decide to go for the pro-max, I'll have this issue to face again, so do I wait or just cancel and hope if I order the pro max it'll come quicker..

i was also told i would not be charged a penny until they have my order ready to come and i was charged £700 yesterday so i should have it.

also my contract for what i have now renews tomorrow does that mean im gonna have to pay for my old and new bill this month where as i should only be paying my new one

@Slav1991whilst speaking later today to the woman at the complaints department, she asked me to email direct to her email address screenshots of where it says “order expected in 24hrs”, I told her I’ve had this message since Thursday. 
I ordered my phone on launch day at 1:20pm. 
She told me that I would definitely have it by Monday, but in the meantime she said once i do eventually get the phone she will sort out what I will get as a gesture of good will. 🤷‍♂️

Ah, I'm glad to hear you're getting yours monday!

Praying mines comes too, but not having a confirmation email, and no tracking. I'm not very hopeful..

I've decided to cancel my order and I will be calling them to place my pre-order for the MAX to avoid all this. If I have to wait two weeks I might as well wait out another one on top of that to upgrade to the larger one.

I'll be back in 3 weeks I guess! Haha

Also with the launch day being a Friday like if dpd wont do deliveries for EE for some odd reason on the weekend why have they not went with someone that will because that makes more sense to be able to get them out as quickly as 

at this point i could probably order it off apple and have it come quicker
