iPhone 12 and 12 Pro preorder thread

Saw that there was an XS/XS Max thread back in 2018 and fancied seeing if anyone would respond to a new one for the iPhone 12 preorders!

 

Ordered myself an 128GB iPhone 12 Pro in Pacific Blue, albeit it with minimal photos showing the new colour so I'm a little nervous as someone who's gone Silver for the past few years.

 

Order is currently sat at Order Confirmed, Awaiting Confirmation for the delivery date but I hope this evening (as per previous years) it changes to delivery for Friday.

 

What phones and experiences has everyone else had this year?

Yes the number does not work for my DPD tracking

Hi all.

 

Just curious ... those that ordered/upgraded and are receiving or have received their new phone today ... did you do it on the phone with EE or online.

 

I’m waiting for the 12 pro Max and wondering which route to go down to avoid some of the disappointment that some of you are facing today.

@Lorenzo94 💡 They have have given you the wrong code; I was issued two 10-digit numbers but it turns out one of them is just a reference that will be put on my DPD parcel. Also it’s worth noting that my tracking number only works when I use the email address for my account (not my log in email but another registered email nor my phone number) so perhaps try that? Order number should start “00” and you cannot use the XKO number to track

@Gr3mlyn Have you tried all the options under customer service and technical support? That’s odd because they work just fine for me and I get through to someone in a matter of seconds

ive managed to get through to live chat by selecting a department that wont be being used that much and then they have re-directed me to the right area

 

Yes me! Just tried it on the DPD app now.....

This is the same as me. I ordered on Friday when the website was saying delivery on launch date. No email other than one with XKO number. They then emailed to say there was an error as my name on the account is my maiden name. (Which they know about and want me to call in with my marriage certificate 🙄). Spoke to them and they put the order through again. Yet again no confirmation. We chat this morning was inconclusive! One moment they tell me 7-10 days the next they say some are being sent today. Who knows where I stand and I can’t check with DPD as I don’t have a tracking number.

I didnt get no money back but they have put me on the priority list now and theyve said it will be here for monday with the transcript being set to my email for proof which is great
