iPhone 12 and 12 Pro preorder thread

Saw that there was an XS/XS Max thread back in 2018 and fancied seeing if anyone would respond to a new one for the iPhone 12 preorders!

Ordered myself an 128GB iPhone 12 Pro in Pacific Blue, albeit it with minimal photos showing the new colour so I'm a little nervous as someone who's gone Silver for the past few years.

Order is currently sat at Order Confirmed, Awaiting Confirmation for the delivery date but I hope this evening (as per previous years) it changes to delivery for Friday.

What phones and experiences has everyone else had this year?

I ordered mine last Friday at about 1930 Pacific blue 125Gb got an email to say they had my order and to expect delivery launch day. 

I received a confirmation email on Monday. My tracker still says awaiting delivery confirmation and nothing on the DPD app. CS say they have my order but can't tell me when I'll get the device. This is really frustrating. 

I hope it updates over night for tomorrow delivery 🙁

I’m basing that on what CS have told me - if you didn’t get the 3 emails, incl the DPD info until Monday or Tues, you won’t get the phone tomorrow.

But EE have confirmed there were issues with certain pre-orders, and some others on here appear to have been impacted. Fact is, anyone who pre-ordered and was promised delivery tomorrow should have their phones tomorrow but they won’t.

Update!

Lovely lady called me via a contraption of my partners iPad calling me on FaceTime and her calling his iPhone and me shooting through the iPad.

My order was collected at 6 and will be with me tomorrow! I have had no email and no update on my tracking page. No idea what the lady earlier was on about though who told me I wouldn't get it until Monday....

So all the customers who have DPD tracking that states DPD have their order and it on the way to their local depot won't get their phone? And DPD are lying?

I ordered mine Friday and didn't get my confirmation straight away but still DPD have it. How can you say that anyone that ordered and was promised 23rd delivery won't get it

I’ve mentioned issues with EE with there backlog of unprocessed orders in a previous post , some who ordered minutes or hours after 1pm last Friday won’t get there’s tomorrow and others who pre ordered Saturday onwards are getting there’s tomorrow , totally strange and frustrating for those who are in this boat

This was my order experience :

online order completed on Friday at 13:04pm for pacific blue iPhone 12 Pro 128Gb via upgrade anytime , received confirmation email but no payment was taken for upgrade fee

Had to call EE Saturday morning at 8:15am to ask why , EE agent said order was in a huge backlog of orders , said he’d do mine and put me at the front of the queue to guarantee mine for launch day , payment immediately taken and received officially pre order confirmation text with order number beginning with 00 with link to order EE tracker ( No email though this time ) 

Tuesday , EE order tracker changed to Expecting delivery on 23rd October

Wednesday , EE tracker changed to Dispatching within 24 hours

Today , DPD email delivery  Notification at 10:30am and from DPD App , EE tracker changed to order dispatched 22nd October 

texts from EE confirming upgrade was complete and new tariff details

hope this helps some and sorry for those who are nervous and anxious about there orders , keep my fingers crossed for you

That’s not what I said, is it? Those who haven’t had confirmation emails, or who had the trio of confirmation emails a few days after they actually pre-ordered won’t get their phones tomorrow. Again, this was confirmed by a CS rep, her manager and the Digital Sales Team.

You clearly said if you didn't the 3 emails until early week and "anyone" who preordered

Ordered my iPhone 12 pro on Monday, pacific blue. 

I was told any orders placed after Sunday is classed as adictiinal stock and orders will take 14 days. 

Spoke to someone in ee today and they confirmed this

There’s too much randomness going on with some pre orders , some people are only getting one email and yet today receiving there DPD delivery  notifications for tomorrow , scroll through the last few pages and there’s several people on here with different experiences on what day they pre ordered and how many emails or texts they received and some of those are getting there new iPhones tomorrow , but some people aren’t for some reason
