iPhone 12 and 12 Pro preorder thread

Saw that there was an XS/XS Max thread back in 2018 and fancied seeing if anyone would respond to a new one for the iPhone 12 preorders!

Ordered myself an 128GB iPhone 12 Pro in Pacific Blue, albeit it with minimal photos showing the new colour so I'm a little nervous as someone who's gone Silver for the past few years.

Order is currently sat at Order Confirmed, Awaiting Confirmation for the delivery date but I hope this evening (as per previous years) it changes to delivery for Friday.

What phones and experiences has everyone else had this year?

MAJOR PLOT TWIST

Even though my second order technically didn't get processed until Tuesday night, I have just received an email from DPD saying they deliver my parcel on 23rd October. There is hope guys!

Cant believe I still haven't had a shipping email or anything... its been expected dispatch since 2am last night and its meant to be coming tomorrow 😩

I have just been in contact with EE and they will start dispatching them at 23rd at 8AM its a first come first serve so basically if like myself you didn't order one straight away you might not get it for a few days

@Drewhl94  I think the issue is the fact they don’t train their staff well enough, so each person rings gets given a difference answer !

If they literally had a quick briefing/memo each day, they’d all be up to date and know what’s going on instead of just making it up as they go along.  

Surely that isn't too much to ask for, correct information 🤷🏻‍♀️

I am switching to EE and I got the iPhone Pro 128GB Pacific Blue in contract at 1.33pm last Friday. Expected 23rd delivery.

I had the delivery date on the tracker updated to 23rd on Tuesday night. The status changed to "despatch within 24 hours" last night. I received the email from DPD that they are delivering the order tomorrow, only 45 mins ago, so people don't despair, there is still a chance you may get the email!

I was losing my hopes! This thread is so confused it may create anxiety!!

@Sam2018 mine has just been scanned at Hinckley in England so definitely coming from mainland. Hope it makes its way to an aircraft tonight so they can deliver tomorrow 😞

I talked to somebody from chat, it does look like that they processed orders randomly, I ordered it on the 16th not long after 1pm, but my order was only processed on the 19th, which is weird, I got the text message but my order is still waiting to be dispatched. I was surprised that everything went relative smooth until now, I guess now is the when they are messing about a little bit
