iPhone 12 and 12 Pro preorder thread

Saw that there was an XS/XS Max thread back in 2018 and fancied seeing if anyone would respond to a new one for the iPhone 12 preorders!

Ordered myself an 128GB iPhone 12 Pro in Pacific Blue, albeit it with minimal photos showing the new colour so I'm a little nervous as someone who's gone Silver for the past few years.

Order is currently sat at Order Confirmed, Awaiting Confirmation for the delivery date but I hope this evening (as per previous years) it changes to delivery for Friday.

What phones and experiences has everyone else had this year?

Yep, we're still here pre ordering. Still here panicking about pre order and then majority still here ending up getting pre orders on launch day.

Ordered my iPhone 12 Blue 128GB at 11am on Saturday and have just had an email from DPD to confirm delivery tomorrow despite only getting an initial confirmation from EE and being unable to track up to now. Hopefully that gives anyone still waiting some hope!

i ordered on saturday via their new sms upgrade system and hadnt heard anything so i called up on tuesday to make sure the order had been put in for the 128gb pacific blue model and was told nothing had been entered in the system. Had to go through to the retention team to get the same deal, stiill awaiting confirmation from DPD 😞

I ordered a Pacific Blue iPhone 12 Pro 512gb at 1:20 pm, and I just checked the DPD app; it's en-route to be delivered tomorrow.

To give an example of how bonkers this process can be I’ve just received another text from EE saying :

Great news! Your new iPhone 12 Pro 5G 128GB Pacific Blue on order number xxxxxxxxxx is on its way to your chosen EE Store and will be ready to collect on 23rd Oct 2020 when the store opens. We'll hold your order until 28th Oct 2020. Remember, if your current phone is damaged there may be a charge to pay. For more information on your trade in visit ee.co.uk/annualupgradenow Thanks from EE. 😆

ive never told them about any store or anything like that as it’s arriving tomorrow to my home address , received DPD notification this morning around 10:30am and the updated tracker has been good for me since Tuesday with up to date information  , it’s all abit strange at times with EE prior to iPhone launch day , anyone else had this?

Hopefully both 😂 , abit of iPhone Fantasy mixed in with the real life , although for some people it turns into a nightmare when something goes wrong with there order !
