iPhone 12 and 12 Pro preorder thread

Saw that there was an XS/XS Max thread back in 2018 and fancied seeing if anyone would respond to a new one for the iPhone 12 preorders!

Ordered myself an 128GB iPhone 12 Pro in Pacific Blue, albeit it with minimal photos showing the new colour so I'm a little nervous as someone who's gone Silver for the past few years.

Order is currently sat at Order Confirmed, Awaiting Confirmation for the delivery date but I hope this evening (as per previous years) it changes to delivery for Friday.

What phones and experiences has everyone else had this year?

@wadey217 unfortunately they’re telling the truth. There is a delay with current preorders so people may get there device late - it’s a waiting game for everyone.

@wadey217 who guaranteed it would arrive on the 23rd? The graphite phone has shown as dispatch within 14 days for most of the week, so I would doubt you'd receive it tomorrow if you only ordered it yesterday

The 12 Pro Max has not gone up for pre-order yet, is that just a typo?

Edit - saw your response! it's just the usual EE shambles, try not to worry, it happens every single year!

Keep an eye on the DPD app, also it can be dispatched quite late, so don't give up hope yet.

I’ve been told now by 2 separate agents now my phone has been picked.

Had no delivery text. One said I will get it tomorrow, other said none are being delivered until Monday 26th regardless?

how can 2 people have such different answers

They just make it up! Happens constantly, it's like a game of spin the wheel.

trick is, believe nothing they say and hope for the best!

I've had no delivery text, or any of the random texts with order numbers etc.. Just an email when I upgraded at 13:04. If I track that it shows its expected tomorrow, but I wouldn't even believe that. Keep an eye on the DPD app, that is your best bet.

BUT...they don't always properly update DPD, I've had them land on launch day without ANY tracking.

So people are definitely getting theirs tomorrow so one isn't correct, and ive had the same, every person is telling me its coming tomorrow so i'm guessing they must be right? Ive just chatted with a live chat guy who said he will email me my tracking number tonight, as I don't have a phone currently to get the notifications on for the shipment. He said he's sure I will have it tonight, as he cant even edit my number as he believes the label has already been printed. So here's hoping tomorrow is a good day!
