how to gift data to 4gEE wifi?

Hello everyone....

I just recently upgraded my broadband to Smart wifi which 4gEE. wifi came in standard with 2gb datas per month. 

I had received my router and disc only and Unfortunately I have not received my 4gee wifi device due to EE mistake. oh well I now have to wait again for this device before I could try this on. 

But would like some advice from someone here will be appreciated it. I got the sim pack with me saying ( smart wifi 2gb mob sim pack ) which I assumed its mean each month auto 2gb added on ?

few questions here :

1 ). how would I register this sim ?

2) I got EE mobile plan which included ' Gift data ' , is this possible to gift data to my 4gee wifi Sim device? if yes how could I activate it and is there any extra cost?

would be very helpful if anyone can advice me before my device arrived hopefully soon.

@Master-Rocket   You need to activate the sim you can do this via your phone with the sim in it (if it fits)  You’ll need to register the sim on your online account. but it should show on your account anyway. 

All EE accounts include data gifting and there is no charge to gift data.   Have a look at THIS about data gifting.

Thank you for your replied. very appreciated it. 

I managed to put the sim in my mobile and went into my ee app. managed to registered the sim number onto the my ee app. 

But under my current mobile plan section. I couldn't find. ' family sharing' section as said on the help section on your link . I couldn't find out where I could data gifting inside the app or on ee website.

What sort of contract is your 4GEE device on? If it's on a 30-day contract you can't gift data to it.
