Hi, I'm thinking of switching to an eSim on a iPhone 12 Pro Max. I understand the eSim gets embedded onto the phone. The question I have is, if I change the device in the future and wish to sell it on, can the eSim be removed from the phone?
Thanks

Hi @jss1122
You can erase the eSIM at any time in the settings, so you can remove it before you sell it. You will need to contact EE to get another QR code sent out though. You can't transfer an eSIM to a new device.

Thanks for the reply @chistery that answers my question
I have one more. I have two EE lines, one is personal and the other is business. The personal one I will move to esim and the business one will be a nano SIM, when using both as dual sim on iPhone 12 will both simultaneously use 4g or can you only use one at a time?
Thanks.

Hi @jss1122
Both SIMs are active, and you can receive calls on either but you select which SIM you want data on. You can also select it to swap to the other SIM to use data if the active one is unavailable. So if data is on line 1 and you receive a call on line 2, data will not work during the call unless you have selected to swap data to the 2nd SIM.
