eSIM and transferring number

Hi.

My new account is currently corrupt/inaccessible so I called 150 to do 2 things - submit a PAC code to move from VF to EE, and to request an eSIM. The person said they could do both at the same time. My number transferred yesterday and the eSIM arrived today BUT with the old phone number on it.

Is it safe to activate, or should I request a new eSIM?

Welcome to the community.

It's fine to register the eSIM now.

The SIM will be registered to your account, and the number will be transferred to the eSIM once the transfer is complete.
