eSIM + S21 Ultra

Hi Everyone,

 

Does EE support eSim for the S21 Ultra? I can't find anything on the website which reflects this.

Yes, it does, it just takes a while to get the EE web site updated.

 

That said with two SIM slots, I'm not sure I see the point for most people, physical SIMs are much easier to manage and swap between devices.

it's more of a security thing - if i get mugged it might act as a deterrent since one cannot just pop out the sim and then the phone can no longer be tracked.

Yeah i have my S21 Ultra running on an eSim. Just phone them up and they will send one out.

 

However, DO NOT DO what it says to do on the sim when you get it. Register it first on the website then scan the QR code on the phone. I had problems twice doing it the way they said on the leaflet. When i rang an advisor told me not to do it that way 😂
