Hi @michaelwatts.

Welcome to the community.

If you log into the router's home page using the login information on the side of the router, you'll be able to access your router's settings and see what they are.

Jon

Hi Jon

Thank you for your reply. I have logged into the routers home page but I
can’t see any dns settings there. The actual model no of the huawei router
is B25-261. I would have liked to attach a screenshot but I am unable to do
that on this forum.
The reason I need the dns servers is so I can configure my NAS drive as it
can’t currently connect to the internet and it flags up a problem with the
dns servers. I have tried 8.8.8.8, 8.8.4.4 etc with no luck
Kind Regards
Michael

Hi @michaelwatts ,

If your NAS wants different DNS, it may make more sense to set it directly in the NAS to avoid reboots needed to pick up from the the router/DHCP.

The router manual should be available online and I think it would be unlikely for the service provider to disable that functionality.

From the NAS, are you able to ping first the gateway and then the desired DNS?

Which page are they on - have looked but the settings do not appear to be present?  I suspect they have been disabled in the firmware used by EE for this router?
