Day 35 of my 28 day period waiting for a pacific blue 512 Pro Max and still nothing, not even a ‘sorry, but we are thinking about you’ email or text. Has anyone received one of these from EE yet? It will be out of date in October no doubt.

It’s my day off today so may grab some beers and ring customer services to kill an hour or two.

please post if you have received one - or if you haven’t yet; and post your order date too so as we can all gauge the wait times to expect.

thanks.

@Techlab2k   I can tell you where it is.   Apple still haven’t produced one that can be given to EE so EE can send it to you.   You are aware of the world wide current situation this is not only effecting the UK it’s having an effect on all manufacturers even those that help produce components for the iPhone so Apple have a shortage of parts..

To contact EE Customer Services dial 150 From your EE mobile or 0800 956 6000 from any other phone.

Hi @Techlab2k

Due to limited stock availability, we are fulfilling all orders for the iPhone 12 Pro Max 512GB Pacific Blue on a first come first serve basis and are working with Apple to get this to you as soon as possible.

We are sorry for the delay.

Thanks.

Leanne.

@Techlab2k been waiting since the 20th of November for the exact same phone. Order tracker changed back to awaiting confirmation this morning after having an expected delivery date of this week.

I’m well aware of the global situation, Apple’s well documented production issues, BREXIT, Coronavirus, plagues of frogs in the Far East, pixies and left handed sugar conspiracy theories.
I’m also aware of the shocking customer service at EE, Why can I not get a weekly email saying where I am in the queue for the phone; how many they’ve sent and roughly when to expect the device? That would instantly turn frustration into anticipation and stop everyone complaining.

I take it from your comments @Chris_B  that you are in the EE infrastructure somewhere and aware we are waiting for EE branded and locked IPhones that have, potentially, not been produced as yet?

Hi @Leanne_T @thanks for the reply. Can you tell me how many EE customers have received the Pro Max? Have you received any? and, if so how many do you get per delivery?

You don't need to know how many have been shipped.

And no one can tell you how many are coming in as EE could order 100 but only receive 20.

@BrendonH why do I not need to know how many, what’s going on? I take it I have levelled up with EE forum employees then? If I play by your rules laid down in your reply then I can still ask how many you have got from Apple (not coming in) and how many you have dispatched? I can also, under law, ask for a reasonable delivery time which is defined as 28 days for promised goods.

I am prepared to wait but for how long? My contract for services provided (SIM, data and calls) is now out of the 14 day ‘cooling off’ period so I am committed to paying for those services from my upgrade agreement in December. I’m still not committed to the credit agreement to the new device until I receive it. That means I will still have months to pay on the new device even after my next upgrade if I accept it as suitable for purpose etc. I do hope I only pay for the EE services on my next bill and not for the phone I do not have or the phone I have already paid for.

So, how many have you had and when will I see it? Also, have EE received/dispatched any devices at all?

Also, please declare whether you are an EE employee or not. This will help as I will be making a FOI request over your reply for any litigation in support of any claim I make subsequently.

All I’m after is some honest open information from EE.

Use my replies in whatever reason you want but if you can't tell who are or who are not employees on here then I think you need to look a little harder because it is pretty obvious who are employees on here. But then they don't have account access so they can't check your account for you to check your order to see when it's coming in.

I don't know what claim you think you have,

You basically have 2 options.

1. Wait til Apple can supply the goods because they have a shortage of components to make the phone.

2. Cancel your order and choose a different device.

The choice is yours really.

Hi @BrendonH @I don’t think you comprehend the point I’m trying to make. I have stated I’m happy to wait for the device. My gripe, currently, is the lack of information from EE. I understand the difficulties posed by the global situation and I also understand that EE are a third party in all of this and are in no position to produce them out of thin air.

All I would like is a weekly update saying we have had x many devices in from Apple, you are x in the queue and an expected delivery time is ... days / weeks / months.

Thats all I’m asking. Nothing more nothing less.

over the past 10 or so years I have had outstanding service from EE and I’m very loyal to the brand. I have several iPhones and several iPads, all with EE. As a faithful and patient customer do I not deserve a little in return? I’m only after regular updates and am using this forum to request/suggest that this happens.

As I’ve said previously, this would instantly turn frustration into anticipation and put a lot of peoples minds at rest.

As for your rather bitter reply, yes I do have a choice and I’ve made it. I just want to know what the situation is currently. I’m not asking for a lot, just some communication and re-assurance from the company.
