Will a 5g sim work on a 4g iPhone

I am trying to get a sim only deal. They keep saying that “ 5G available (if your phone is 5G)” . I have an iPhone 11 that is not capable of 5G. Will the sim still work.

I’m sure it will work you just won’t get the benefit of the 5g out of it as you have already said.

Yes, it will work, you'll just get 4G instead.
