Wifi calling not working, iphone 12

Can't get wifi calling to work on iphone 12. 

I have switched the wifi calling button on, have reset wifi, turned it all off and on again.... I have no bars of signal at home so rely on the phone for work and other calls. Any tips would be great! Thanks

Are you PAYG or pay monthly contract? (Although both now work on WiFi calling) 

 

Are you definitely connected to WiFi, can you access the internet?

 

Are you in the UK?

Has WiFi Calling worked on this phone before, or is this the first time you're trying to use it?

Hi @Northerner I am on a monthly contract. 

100% connected to the internet, the symbol is there and I can access internet and apps no problem.

Hi @Jon_K , this is a pretty new phone - got it in July and over the school summer holidays never got round to sorting this problem out!

Can you try resetting the network settings on your phone?

 

You can do this in Settings, General, Reset, then Reset Network Settings.

 

You'll then need to reconnect to WiFi can activate WiFi Calling again.

I'd recommend getting in touch with our Customer Care team about this.

 

They will be able to check your account and run through additional troubleshooting with you to get this working.

I have the same issue. New SIM with a New iPhone 12 mini and the wiFi calling is the only thing that doesn't work.

 

I seem to remember the same thing happened to my phone when I moved to EE. This was fixed instantly by an EE rep on the phone. But it seems impossible to actually speak to a real person by dialing 150 at the moment. EE you need to employ more staff!!!! 

 

You mention getting in touch with Customer Services but how can you when they don't pick up the phone!!!
