Seriously, After being Text, Emailed and my EE app bleating at me for weeks, I try to upgrade my watch for a Watch 4 Classic, get my order (Including Trade in) done online only to be told "Oh, sorry your not eligible for an upgrade"
I get where the CS rep is Coming from, there is nothing he can do, but this seems almost backwards when I'm trying to pay you MORE money for a LONGER period of time.
My Original Watch 46mm was out of Contract in March, great. So I rung EE last month and explained I was looking at a Galaxy Watch 3 and that I was on the fence about waiting for the Watch 4. "No problem, what I'll do is put you on a £7 a month plan and then you can upgrade when its been announced" (No mention of me paying £18 for 4 months DESPITE being out of contract, but that's another thing...)
Lo and Behold I "Upgrade" yesterday, THROUGH said bleating app and Website and, through sheer fluke, I rung up for another issue (Confirm that the Original Watch was Eligible for trade in) only to be told I CAN'T upgrade as I changed my Plan less then 30 days ago. I Know this, the Brainbox at EE decided this was fine and never mentioned this would impact my Future Upgrade...
I'm LITERALLY trying to give you £18 a month for 24 months instead of £7 for 1 month...
I know it seems like first world problems, but are we STILL at a stage where:
30 days is up on the 26th and the device is released on the 27th. I have to reapply and hope there is Stock and then hope the Trade in deal is still live (The guy on the phone "Believes" it "Probably will be") Oh no, no one can just apply the upgrade on the 26th and ship it, no.
Oh, and the Chat on the EE app is Beyond useless BTW.

@killyouridols08 Is it that big of a deal if you get it a few days after release. I thought bragging rights only related to kids.

No, its not a "Big Deal" , nor is it about "Bragging rights" its more case of how a company the size of EE:
I'll hopefully get it release day, that's not an issue, its the way these things are dealt with in 2021. This was an easier system 10 years ago.
