When does my upgrade deal activate?

I recently upgraded to the new iphone but was told i could keep the same SIM and my new contract would be transferred with it. I've had my new phone for a day and i'm still on my old contract details but the EE app states it has started the day I received my phone. Effectively i'm still on the details (data, calls and text allowances) from my old contract on my new phone. I'm running out of data and need my new contract to br activated. When will this be? Or how long does it take?

Thanks for coming to the community. 

 

Does your My EE account show one or two active lines?

 

If your account shows one and you continue to use your old SIM your new contract and services will be available from this SIM. 

 

Contracts begin the day your phone arrives.
