Myself and my partner recently upgraded but are extremely unhappy with the ‘deals’ we were given. Hearing from friends on other networks I feel we are absolutely paying over the odds and getting hardly anything in return. Our lessened data due to the ‘calculated average’ is being used well before it refreshes and better camera quality that was discussed is not any better as advised. Is there anything that can be done to get out of these contracts?

Hi @kt95
Welcome to the EE community
If you bought your phones via either an online or telesales route, then the purchase comes with a statutory 14day "change of mind" right of return for any reason. You can use that to return the phone, cancel the upgrade and once that's been fully processed, take out whatever deal suits you then.
If you bought the phones from a retail shop, then no such right of return exists and you just need to choose the best deal for you at the point of purchase.

Hi, I think that’s the issue, we each only had one option given to us and are being charged silly money for a lot less than we’ve ever had with EE. It’s disappointing and now we’re stuck in these contracts.

Hi @kt95
Thanks for coming to the community.
When did you place the order?
Did you complete the upgrades over the phone?
Thanks.
Leanne.
