We have an unlimited sim, which we gift data to another 4g sim - we live in a rural area so don't have access to broadband.
We gift 100gb data a month, which should be plenty for what we use, however we are half way through the data in ten days.
We don't download very much but do stream TV and music - it doesn't make sense how we are going through so much data - we would like to know where the data is going but can't seem to find the info online as to what devices are soaking up the data - if they are at all.
So, essentially we are looking for an itemised data usage from the gifted data to the 4g sim.

Hi @GirlGarlic
If you check the individual devices, then within the data connection menus there will be an option for "data usage counter". The exact wording and location differs between iOS & Android, but it'll be in there somewhere.
This will break the data usage on that device down app-by-app, and should hopefully ID the culprit. Also if you're streaming TV & video - is that in HD-resolution?
The other thing to check is OS software updates - are these set to download automatically? Those can be quite hefty if you don't realise they're happening.

Halfway thro' the 100GB gifted data or halfway the unlimited (1000GB FUP) data for your own use?
As you are using mobile routers over WiFi you won't be able to see what your individual connected devices are using it for.

Girlgarlic.. I have a 4GEE router and I can log into the router settings which also tells me how much data is left out of my allowance. To give you an idea if we are just browsing the internet, shopping, emails etc then we only tend to use about 2GB in a day. If we have a day with TV streaming, Zoom meetings etc this can easily bump up to 5-10GB a day.
We are not heavy users and used around 100GB in our first month, however we pay for 200GB in case we go over that. Hope that helps.
