I specifically chose ee for the "Roam Farther" smart benefit. I travel to the US often and don't want to think about roaming.
When I signed up for my account I did so over the phone as I was porting a number and it wasn't working. I was told I could choose a benefit after I selected a plan. Adding this, of course, is more expensive. After I was all set up there was no mention of the Smart Benefit so I asked and was told I could choose it later in the app. Well... I guess it doesn't work that way.
So after raising this to chat I was told it would be added to my account. I was told I would be able to see this was one online.
How can I verify this was done? I can't see anywhere in the app or on the website that says anything about Smart Benefits?
(and FWIW, you now have Smart Benefits, Upgrades, boosts and add-ons. In colloquial English these all mean the same thing...)

@akidd Anything added to your tariff will be viewable in add ons from within your EE account.

@Chris_B Thanks but I don't think this answers what I'm asking. New accounts are incentivized with the ability to add a "Smart Benefit" - which I don't believe is added to my tariff and isn't listed in addons in the app or on the website

Hi @akidd ,
I'm on the 24 month, SIM-only, 200 GB plan and do see the Smart Benefit listed in the "My EE" app under "Plan & Add-ons" clicking in the bottom right. I believe there was a cheaper variant of this plan with no Smart Benefit. Is it possible the service provider has accidentally put you on the Essential(s) version of your plan with no Smart Benefit?
When you visit https://myaccount.ee.co.uk/app/view-plan do you see that it is a "5G Smart SIM Plan"? Do you see "Swappable benefits" listed on that page?
