Why have I paid double what u should have on my 1st months bill for new sim card

Pay-as-you-Go is, by definition, not a monthly contract. You either have one or the other.

 

If you're on a pay-monthly plan, your first month's bill is always higher due to covering two billing periods:

 

1: Charges in arrears for service between your connection date and first bill cycle

2: Charges in advance for your first full month's service.
