Hi there, I had a new phone and sim card yesterday as an upgrade from EE. I put the sim card into the new phone around 3pm, and continued to set it up.
I have been trying since then to send texts to people, and it keeps saying "Waiting for connection" despite having full signal strength. The sim in my old phone is still working, and texts are going to my old phone, but why is this happening please?
How long does it take for a new sim, with the same number to be registered please?

Hi @MRW
You can only have one SIM per number.
Does your old SIM (which you've confirmed still works) fit in your new phone? If it does, then put that SIM in your new phone and there's no need to change SIMs.

Thanks for the reply.
It was a new nano sim, as the other one was a standard sim inside an older phone, so it wouldn't fit into the new phone.
I have activated the new sim now, and the older sim is no longer working, so hopefully the new sim will start to work asap.
