Please help. Ever since I upgraded to a sim only unlimited data package, my download speed is rubbish ie. Less than 1Mbps however the upload is around 10Mbps.

Any help would be much appreciated

Hi @tonto989

I hope you're well and having a nice weekend, other than this issue of course.

When you took your new deal, did you get a new SIM card, or did it just switch on the one you already had?

Thanks

Chris

Hi Chris, it switched on my existing sim card.

Thanks tonto989

What make and model phone are you using at the moment?

Thanks

Chris

Its a Samsung Galaxy S10

Thanks @tonto989

I would like to try doing something called a network refresh, to do that please follow the below instructions:

Step 1: Go to settings or Swipe down notification panel and tap on settings gear icon

Step 2: Tap on General management

Step 3: Tap on Reset under reset section

Step 4: Tap on Reset network settings

Step 5: Press Reset settings button

Step 6: Again tap on Reset settings

Once you have followed these steps you will need to re-enter any WiFi passwords you have saved. Please let me know if this helps.

Thanks

Hi,

I just tried that and it is no better. Download 1.16Mbps Upload 6.56Mbps

@tonto989 As that hasn't worked it would be a good idea to check for any issues in the area

You can do that on our Coverage and Network Status Checker, if it shows no issues then you can report the issue on there and our engineers will look into it as soon as possible.

Thanks

Chris

Hi Chris.

As it has been like it for a while and  the same elsewhere, I doubt its a network problem. But I will check anyway.

Thanks for your help..

@tonto989 In that case it may be best to have a chat with our customer care team, so they can dig into this a little deeper with you.

Thanks

Chris
