Lots of broadband data used whilst away on vacation

I recently took a short break (3 nights). Whilst I was away all computers were switched off and the TV wasn't used (the property was completely empty). I just checked my broadband usage and on the days I was away significant amounts of data were both downloaded and uploaded. For instance, on a day I was climbing a mountain elsewhere in the country >24Gb were apparently downloaded and >4Gb uploaded. How should I interpret this and what should I do?

The BB usage figures found in your MyEE for BB are wildly inaccurate & not to be trusted.

See e.g.. High Upload Data Usage!

To the tune of 0 Gb vs 24 GB?!

Many thanks for your reply 🙂
