Validity time of a boost

How long is a 'boost' valid for, please? e.g. do the extra minutes remain added after the current pack duration ends?

I have run out of minutes but am only three days away from the monthly renewal. I am entitled to a boost but don't want to take this if it will run only until the end of the current pack duration.

Thanks.

@bonzoWiltsUK : Boosts last as long as the pack they boost but you don't have a choice whether they do. They just do! They boost every pack you ever buy as they will for your next pack.

Thank you XRay, I interpret this as meaning that if I take the boost now it will expire with the current pack in three days' time. So if the boost is 50 minutes of call time then if I use 10 minutes before the end of my current pack I will forfeit the other 40 minutes.

You will but so what? You'll get another 50 mins boost on your next pack.
