VC 586 mirroring issue BT sport

I've recently upgraded to a Pixel 4a with the BT add-on. I'm trying to watch BT sport on the phone app, logged in with my EE details. I don't have casting turned on, but I'm seeing the VC586 mirroring error, saying that the functionality has changed.

 

I don't understand why, when I'm just trying to watch it on my phone, it won't play anything at all.

 

Please advise.

@quinnite  Fully close the app and then reopen it and try again.

I've tried that, as well as clearing the cache and storage. I've deleted it and reinstalled and the screen mirroring error still shows.

Hi @quinnite.

 

Have you tried logging out of the app and then back in?

 

Can you see an option to turn off mirroring?
