Hello!

I came in Greece for the summer and I can't use my data at all. How can I fix that?

I can't even turn them on.

@Maria011  Are you on contract or PAYG ?

If your on contract you can only use your tariff allowance for up to 2 months while out of the UK after this time you might be charged for international calls/text and you might need to purchase any data you want.

To contact EE Customer Services dial 150 From your EE mobile or 0800 956 6000 from any other phone.

I am on a contract but I didn't have issues like that before. I was in Greece last year for  7 months, returned to England (couldn't use my data in England because I had used everything and I was waiting for the next bill) and when I returned to Greece a few days ago the signal is one or two bars and I can't access my data at all.

@Maria011   So you have a signal on the device.  It might be a device settings that needs to be enabled or it could even a network issue there.

To contact EE Customer Services dial 150 From your EE mobile or 0800 956 6000 from any other phone.

Any ideas what can I do about it?

I think it's the signal because when I try to access my EE data it doesn't work at all. But if I try to access the data from my greek number it works.

It's just weird because it's the first time it's happening. Usually in Greece my EE data were working better than the greek ones.

Hi @Maria011,

Are you able to make calls and send texts?

James

Yes I can

Hi @Maria011

Could you please follow the below instructions for me.

Log into your MYEE Account via our website (not the My EE app)

Once logged in select 'Menu' then 'Manage Your Device' and then 'Usage Controls'

'Roaming Abroad' and ‘Call Abroad and Premium Rate’ both need to be turned on. If they are turned off, please turn them on.

Once this has been done please let me know if it works.

Thanks

Chris
