Me and my husband bought twp new ee sim cards with 40 GB date and free unlimited mintues, worth of 30 pounds each from heathrow airport, but looks like we don't have any data or free mintues other than 20 pounds balance. Helpline runs in pre selected automated options and there is now way to connect to helpline personnel. Highly disappointed.

Hello @Barza
Which shop did you purchase the sim cards from and do you have the receipt?
Thanks,
Martyn

You spent £30 on each & have £20 left as credit? Sounds like it comes with a £10 pack.
What does texting AL to 150 from it fully report verbatim (it is free)?

We purchased the sims from vendor machines at Queen's terminal 2, close to parking at Heathrow. Yes, we have the receipt which I'm attaching here.

Hi @Barza
Thank you for attaching a picture of the receipt. I think @XRaySpeX is correct and that your sims have been preloaded with the £10 pack. Good news is that EE are now offering more data for less money.
I believe the £20 pack now comes with 50GB data and unlimited calls and texts. Text BALANCE to 150 for balance information then text ALL PACKS to 150 to see what the latest packs are available.
Thanks,
Martyn

Only if you buy the online exclusive Summer Data Offer PAYG SIMs from the online EE shop, not for adding to any-old PAYG SIM bought elsewhere. The normal £20 PAYG Pack contains 15GB data pm.

As per the information on the sim packs, these come with 40 GB data in each, with unlimited local texts and calls. I'll attaching the pictures now. The helpline is useless and a wastage of time as it works only on pre-selected automated options and there is no way to talk to customer representative and get the problem fixed.

Both the sims we bought we new and it was clearly written there that each comes with 40 GB data and unlimited local calls and texts, for 30 pounds each, without any additional cost for one month. But unfortunately there us no data, calls or text allowance in our accounts as shown in the picture.

I emailed to customer support yesterday, but haven't received any response yet. I'm attaching the picture of the vending machiene from where we bought the sims.
