I placed an order for a PayG Sim card (plus phone) on 25.09.21. I have since received an email from noreply@ee.co.uk asking me to call them on their 0800 number and provide some further information, before they can process and dispatch the order.
As I am currently abroad and without a working phone, it's impossible for me to call EE. Even if I did have a working phone, I am not sure I would fancy paying the extremely expensive charges for calling a UK 0800 number from overseas!
I figured I could email EE, but no customer services email appears to exist. It seems I can't contact EE via the Chat feature either, since I'm a new customer and can't complete the full registration for My EE until my SIM is setup. One needs to be fully registered in order to get access to the chat, it appears.
So, I have no way of contacting EE.... quite disappointing that in this day and age EE are only offering an 0800 number as a point of contact for new customers. What to do?
I hope a representative picks this up and makes contact, somehow, as I'm at a total loss how else to make contact online.

Do you have access to a web calling app, such as Skype?
You should be able to call UK 0800 numbers via that.

@bristolian , huge thanks for that suggestion! Just tried the number on Skype and SUCCESS, got through to EE and all resolved now.
Thanks again!
