Hi,
I have 95minutes left on my PAYG subscription. When I try to make a call I get a message saying I need to topup. I suggestions? All was working fine before today.
Cheers,
Colin

@cdb12345 : What does texting AL to 150 from it fully report verbatim (it is free)?
There is no WiFi Calling on PAYG.

Hi @cdb12345 ,
Recently it was announce via some sources that "4G calling" and "Wifi-calling" are being rolled out to EE PAYG customers but not all customers would get the functionality at the same time.
Did you receive notification that the functionality was activated for you and by "all working fine", do you mean that previously you've verified it to be working for you?

Hi XRaySpeX,
Here is the info:
Your current balance as of today 16:05 is £0.00. You have 95 minutes, unlimited texts and 3.4GB remaining until 30/08/2021 for your £10 Data Pack. Your remaining data includes 1.4GB of rolled over data. Your last top up was £10.00 on 06/04/2020 at 08:49. For more info on your packs, add-ons or free boosts, go to MyEE. ee.co.uk/myee
For info on our other Text Services, reply HELP or go to ee.co.uk/textservices
Maybe I'm not on PAYG. Anyway, I do have WiFi calling, I got a text from EE saying so at the end of last month and I have the "phone with wifi" symbol at the top of the phone. I'm confused why it says in the text that my last top up was 06/04/2020, as ee is taking money every month.
Thanks for your help.

Hi mikeliuk,
I got a text from EE saying wifi calling was enabled. I also have the symbol at the top of my phone. Plus I have been used the WIFI calling in my house where there is no mobile reception.
Cheers,
Colin

You are on PAYG if you need to top-up.
Yes, you do have WiFi Calling available to you. EE has been rolling it out quietly to PAYG since June. It should be working for you on your remaining minutes.

OK, I just tried something that never occurred to me to try before asking the question. The problem was I was calling an 0845 number. Other numbers are fine.
0845 must be outside my minutes allowance. I did not expect that.
Thanks for the suggestions.

That's right! Your call allowance only covers 01, 02 & 03 UK landline nos. & 07 UK mobiles.
