Transferring old number to EE

Last month I ordered an EE SIM for my mother. She wanted to keep her old number so she got the PAC code from her old provider and I put it in when ordering. We thought this would mean that the number is automatically transferred, but when she eventually received the SIM, it had a new number. She waited to see if it would change by itself, but it is still the new number that came with the SIM. Is there something she needs to do to complete the transfer?

When did you mother's new EE SIM go live on the "temporary" number, which day?
If it was more than a couple of days ago, I would recommend calling EE C/S to get an update on the porting process. I'd recommend a read of this EE help article (under "how long does it take") to get an idea, but if it appears to have gone beyond this timecale I would suggest calling EE C/S (150 from your mobile) and speaking to an agent who will have access to the account (subject to passing a/c holder security) to check.

I think she started using the EE SIM on the 5th or 6th, so over a week ago. I'll advise her to call customer services about it.
