Transfer number

Hi. I received my new phone on Thursday and began transferring my old number from iD mobile to my new phone with EE. I went through all the process with the PAC code etc. and on the My EE app it is showing my old number but whenever I text someone, it comes up as the number I got with the new phone and not my old number. Can someone please help me with this?

Can you call & text from your EE phone, and what number is shown?

 

Where are calls & texts to your existing number going?

 

If your ported number works for some things and not others, this is a "split port" and means the process hasn't completed - EE C/S on 150 are best placed to investigate your account.

 

If your existing number is entirely still working on your old phone, then that would suggest the port hasn't started yet, and in which case it won't start until Monday now.

 

I'd recommend a call to EE C/S on 150 to check what day your number is due to port.
