I have to post my trade in phone but I am unsure if I can just put it in a letter box or does it have to be through the post office?

@Laurenm6  Personally I will take into post office and ask for a proof of postage or even pay for tracked postage.  I would also put extra protection around the device to make sure it gets there safely.
