Paying for pay as you go packs is easier than ever with direct card payments
How do I pay?
Paying for pay as you go packs is so simple.
There's no need to remember topping up to get your pack; you can set up direct card payments and your pack will renew automatically every 30 days. As a reward for setting up the simple way, we will give you a 10% discount off each pack.
You can also pay for add-ons with your card, so no need to worry if you don't have enough credit.
What are the benefits of paying like this?
Here are some of the main benefits of our simple way to pay:
- 10% discount off any pack you buy
- Buy 30-day packs and any add-ons easier and faster.
- Enjoy peace of mind knowing you’ll get your pack every month and stay connected.
- No need to worry about topping up.
- Pay for add-ons with your card, so no need to worry if you have enough credit.
- Control your spend with a set card payment each month.
How do I set up direct card payment for my pack?
If you already have a pack, all you need to do is go to your My EE account and set up a direct card payment.
If you don’t yet have a pack, you can buy one with your card quickly and easily through:
Where? |
How? |
My EE |
Go to your My EE account, choose your pay as you go pack, choose to pay by card and follow the simple steps. |
How do I manage/cancel my payments?
You can change or cancel your payments at any point and we will keep you informed about upcoming payments or if we need you to do anything.
You can cancel your current payment a couple of different ways:
Where? |
How? |
My EE |
Your My EE account shows you how you are paying for a pack or add-on.
You can easily change the card used or switch back to paying by topping up by selecting Manage Payments. |
Texting and calling 150 |
You can stop future payments for a pack by texting “STOP PACK” to 150 or by calling 150 and using the IVR menu.
This also cancels your pack. |

Hi
I set up a new recurring payment earlier this month but did not get the 10% off. Will this only apply from the next payment?
Also, if I want to stop a recurring payment if I have credit in my account already, can I do this without stopping my pack?
Thanks
Kate

Hi @KP83
Thanks for posting 🙂
When you next purchase a pack, could you check to see if the 10% has been deducted?
You can switch back to paying by topping up by selecting Manage Payments in your My EE account.
Thanks.
Leanne.

So if I choose one of these packs then does it start once my current pack ends (and payment taken at that time as well) ?

Hi @tuvoc
You can set up direct card payments without changing your pack.
This would take effect from your next pack 🙂
If you do want to change to a new pack you can do this in your My EE and it'll start when your current pack ends.
Leanne.

As with the poster above, I just set up a new recurring debit card payment and I did not get the 10% discount. The pending transaction showing on my bank account is for the full amount. Misleading advertising it seems. Will I get it for the second renewal ? Frankly not acceptable EE.

Hi @tuvoc.
I'm sorry to hear this has happened.
I'd recommend getting in touch with our Customer Care team so they can check your account and see why this has happened.
They will able to see if it's set up ready for the second renewal.

I contacted customer service. Nothing went wrong, the discount is only for the second and subsequent payments, not the first one. Nothing in the advertising indicates that. Anyway I got excellent service from the web chat person and they put a credit onto my account equal to 10% on the first payment

@tuvoc : The 10% discount isn't from the amount charged to your card but on the price of the pack - see EE pay as you go card payment T&Cs :
5. You will receive a 10% discount of the cost of the Pack when you pay through Card Payments.

Hi @Leanne_T
My latest payment was taken last night and there has been no 10% deduction showing again. Could you advise please?
Thanks
