How can I temporarily stop using my number? I don’t use it now because I’m abroad but still pay for it,

Hi @Liubov2021

If this is a PAYG phone then simply stop topping it up.

Do you have pay-monthly or any additional packs? Those would be the only reason for regular payments being taken.

Hi @Liubov2021 ,

If you have a continuous payment authority active on one of your cards, you will need to contact EE in the first instance to request the payments stop being taken.

No payment is initiated from the bank side so there is nothing to stop there. Once you have issued your instruction to stop payments, further debits become unauthorised transactions for which you can then involve your bank. Good luck!

You've no need to phone EE to do that. You can do it yourself in your MyEE under Menu > A/C settings > Manage your cards .
