Tariff ended

anyone else had their tariff ended by EE?
I received a message saying

We've freshened up our SIM plans, and we've put together some online exclusive offers for you which are available until 12 September see full details at http://discover.ee.co.uk/K6f5T8e7

We've recommended our 12-month SIM Plan with 40GB, unlimited mins and texts for just £17 a month.

Or, if you do nothing, we'll automatically move you to a new 30-day rolling SIM plan with 40GB, unlimited mins and texts for £21 a month on 15 September.

Your current price and benefits will change if we move you onto this and your plan and some other charges will increase annually on or after 31 March each year in line with CPI+ 3.9%. For full details go to http://discover.ee.co.uk/K6f5T8e7

If you're not happy with these changes, you can choose to leave EE without charge - though we really hope you'll stay.
Text STOP to 2040 to opt out from all text message marketing.

my wife is on the same old tariff but hasn’t been told to move. EE confirmed it is genuine and not a scam but it a tariff is ending then surely it is ending for everyone at the same time. I was on that tariff for over 4 years

EE are phasing out their old tariffs gradually. Your wife will get similar offer in the not too distant future.
